Hyderabad: Telangana IT & Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu on Tuesday said artificial intelligence would offer immense potential for creating inclusive solutions.

Speaking at the curtain-raiser media conference on the upcoming Global AI Summit, organised by the Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (Hysea) on Tuesday here, he said: “Our government is committed to fostering collaboration between industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators. Telangana is well-equipped to achieve these goals. The upcoming Telangana Global AI Summit 2024 is being organised with an aim to position Hyderabad as the Global AI Capital.”

The Global AI Summit, being organised by the Telangana government on September 5 and 6, will witness participation of 100 speakers and 2,000 attendees from different segments. More than 100 startups will be showcasing AI-based solutions during the two-day summit. A Mentor Lounge will be set up for advisory and networking for startups.
